Millionaires don't get to be millionaires by throwing their money at whichever lovely rich condo happens to catch their eye in the window of the real estate office. They make careful, considered decisions and consult their many years of training or experience in business matters. However, if you're a millionaire and you don't have years of training or experience in business matters and you want to invest in some real estate, what do you do? You do your research, of course. A good place to start is the book The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller, Dave Jenks, and Jay Papasan.

What's it about?

The Millionaire Real Estate Investor brings together the stories and experiences of over 100 millionaires who have had dealings - good or bad - with the real estate market. By learning how they managed their condominium project, the reader can learn to follow in their footsteps. Other topics covered in The Millionaire Real Estate Investor include separating myths about real estate investing from fact, learning how to work with a development team, how to identify a good investment opportunity, and how to understand your finances.

Who should read it?

The Millionaire Real Estate Investor is primarily useful for existing millionaires who already have the available funds to enter into a deal to start construction on Toronto lofts. Obviously the more experience you already have in real estate investing the less this book will be able to teach you, so it's most helpful to those who with little to no experience. People who are not yet but want to be millionaires may also find this book useful in developing a strategy to become wealthier.

Where can I get one?

The Millionaire Real Estate Investor is available from most booksellers at a cost of between $15 and $30 depending on the seller. It's not common enough that your small town bookstore would have a copy, but you should be able to find it in larger cities if you're heading up that way to look at Toronto luxury homes for sale. You can also buy it online from retailers like Amazon, Chapters Indigo, and Barnes and Noble. It's published by the McGraw Hill company and it comes in several editions: print, downloadable audio book, and digital book.

Who are the authors?

Gary Keller, and Dave Jenks are both experts in the real estate field. Gary Keller owns a real estate company involved in everything from selling real estate to flipping homes. Dave Jenks has taught at the Carnegie Institute and owns his own training company. Jay Papasan was an experienced editor at Harper Collins before heading up the publishing arm of Gary Keller's real estate company.
