Two species of crocodiles and one of cayman live in Mexico: the crocodile of river (Crocodylus acutus) and the one of marsh or Morelet (Crocodylus moreletii) and the cayman of spectacles (Cayman crocodilus). First it is located from Sinaloa to Chiapas, by the Pacific, and the Atlantic, to the coast of Quintana Roo. The second is smaller and it is distributed of the south of Tamaulipas until the Yucatan Peninsula.
